Allocate and Finalize Landed Costs

Add freight, customs, and other acquisition costs to received inventory valuation.

Purchase costing
Purchase-costing workspace with cost components, allocation method, receipt lines, and review totals
Review the allocation total and per-line effect before finalization.

Open an eligible receipt or supplier document and create a purchase costing.

Add cost components such as freight, customs, insurance, or handling and identify their source document.

Choose an allocation method: value, quantity, weight, or manual as available. Manual allocations must equal the component total.

Review each receipt line's original cost, allocated amount, and resulting unit cost.

Finalize with the dedicated permission.

Finalization writes an immutable valuation effect and replays affected inventory valuation in order. Do not finalize until all expected acquisition costs are present. If a finalized source must be corrected, follow the supported reversal path; do not create an unrelated offset merely to hide the difference.
